The evening?s guests would finally realize it was late and there was another day?s work facing them the next day, and they would begin their preparations to leave. Mother frequently had house guests and people over for supper or Sunday dinner or to make ice cream on Sunday afternoon. However, during these evenings visits, I do not remember refreshments being served at our home or at the home of those we visited. The refreshment was the talk and the honest sharing of feelings and adventures. We would follow our guests out to their car in the evening darkness. The katydids would be singing, and the frogs over at the pond sounding a chorus.

Using Spanish to Make Money

Once you decide that you’d like to be a translator, you have to realize that as with any other business you might start, people need to know about it in order for you to have any business. If you just say to yourself one day, “Great, I’m going to be a translator starting today,” and then do nothing else, you won’t be anywhere nearer your goal of making money as a Spanish translator.

You have to market yourself.

This is probably the most important step you have to take in order to become a successful translator. Some translators will probably scoff at me for saying this, but there are translators that aren’t very good but get a lot of business because they are good marketers. On the other hand, there are very good translators that don’t get

business because they are very bad marketers.

At the Sport England / BAB / Ellis mediation meeting 6th July 2004 where the BAB were reprimanded by Sport England and instructed to give Henry Ellis a full public apology.

At the end of the meeting ( The minutes for this meeting can be viewed on www.geocities.com/britishaikido ), Henry Ellis appraised Ms Sadie Mason of Sport England of the proposed plans for the Kenshiro Abbe event, Ms Mason suggested that we should involve the BAB in our plans as part of the reconciliation of British Aikido, Henry Ellis agreed.

Henry Ellis offered Ms Masons suggestion to the Abbe Event Committee, the suggestion was unanimously accepted 100%. The BAB executive were then approached and invited to send a representative ( any member ) of the BAB to attend our meetings and report back on our progress, this offer was rejected out of hand.

Preparing the Site

Before actually installing the tile, it is best to lay it out in the room to see how it will look. Pay close attention to how it runs out toward the walls, in the corners and next to cabinets, tubs and toilets. The trick is to lay the tile out such that stubby tiles do not show up in highly visible spots. Once you have completed this, make two marks with a pencil outlining the most centered tile.
